Hollywood residents will vie for awards in five different categories in the upcoming Cardboard Boat Race 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 5 at City of Hollywood Marina Boat Ramp, 700 Polk St. Boats, which are built off site, will compete in Most Creative Design; Fastest Vessel; Best Team Spirit; Most Spectacular Sinking and People’s Choice, decided by event-goers.
